Family Class (Mixed Ages)
Informal instruction where children may or may not participate as they choose, and do so according to their developmental level. This class is freely MIXED AGES from birth to age five where the activities focus on adult-child interaction rather than child-child. Many childhood educators consider mixed-age groupings beneficial, and the process of music development throughout this age range is similar.
Squeals and giggles mix with favorite songs. Parents learn how babies learn music. There is no previous experience required, just a love of music and a willingness to have fun.
Story Time Class
Non-walking babies only; crawlers are welcome, too!
It's like story time at the library, but so much more!
READ books, CHANT books, SING books, DANCE books, JAM with our Play-Along instruments. We'll be using our current Music Together® songbooks, along with favorite songs from our vast collection of the Music Together repertoire. We'll also explore other books as they relate either rhythmically or content-wise to the songs we will be experiencing in class.
Enrollment Requirements: Class is available to children (through kindergarten-age) who have previously attended Foothill Music Together's FAMILY CLASSES for at least TWO 10-Week Sessions.
